What is AutoNation Mobility? 

AutoNation Mobility is a new micro lease service from AutoNation, America’s most admired automotive retailer,* that gives you the freedom to choose the car that’s right for you—on your terms, at a transparent price, and through an easy digital experience.  

All the cars you’ll see are available now, and they come with lots of good stuff. Each car comes with a limited warranty and maintenance plan. Additionally, 24/7 roadside assistance is offered by the manufacturer. So you can stress less and focus on the road ahead, anywhere it takes you. 

We’re currently offering early access to select drivers in California and Florida—stay tuned as we add more cities soon.

What is a car micro lease? 

It’s a way to access a car without the commitment of a typical long-term lease or purchase, so your car can change as your needs do.   

When you get a micro lease with us—the cars you see are all available now—you’ll be able to choose:  

Your micro lease comes with lots of good stuff like a limited warranty and maintenance plan. Additionally, 24/7 roadside assistance is offered by the manufacturer, and we'll take care of registering your vehicle, so you don't need to make a trip to the DMV.

Why should I get a micro lease? 

Sometimes, you need a car without the commitment of a traditional 36-month lease or purchase because your vehicle needs may quickly change, and long-term rentals can be expensive. You might have a growing family, want to try before you buy, or maybe you just love driving the latest and greatest.   

An AutoNation Mobility micro lease offers the freedom to choose a car you'll enjoy driving at a transparent price, with more flexible terms and a seamless digital experience.

When you’re browsing cars on autonationmobility.com, you’ll see options to search for cars closest to you by entering your zip code, city, or address. You’ll also have the option to tell us how long you’d like to get a micro lease for and how much you’d like to pay each month.

The search results will display cars near you. To filter by nearest cars to you, use the dropdown on the righthand side of the page to select the Distance Nearest option.

There are a few ways to find the car that is right for you.  

As you’re browsing, you’ll have the option to filter cars by make, model, color, and more---or view all cars in our inventory. Just hit the Filter button.  

AutoNation Mobility is a part of the AutoNation, Inc. family of companies, so the cars you see come from our AutoNation stores. As an AutoNation company, you’ll get the same great benefits and quality you’ve come to expect from one of America’s most admired automotive retailers. 

Each listing specifies the store from where you will get your car. Once you’ve finished setting up your micro lease online, we’ll schedule a time to pick up your car so that you can be in and out of the store quickly. 

In addition to more flexible terms than a traditional lease, every AutoNation Mobility micro lease comes with: 

No, insurance isn’t included. You’ll bring your own insurance and we'll have you share your insurance policy with us before you pick up your car.

As you near the end of your micro lease term, our team will help you find a convenient AutoNation store location that you can return your car to.

No. At this time, our cars can’t be used for rideshare driving (or any other commercial purposes). If you are interested in getting a car to drive for a rideshare service, check out www.autonation.com for options that may better suit your needs. 

When you set up your micro lease, we’ll prompt you to add a bank account that can be used for your monthly payments. You’ll be able to safely connect your bank account via an encrypted ACH (Automatic Clearing House) connection. If you need to change your connected bank account, log into your AutoNation Mobility Billing Hub.

If you decide to cancel an order prior to picking up your vehicle, simply contact us and we can help process your cancellation. Our team can also help you to find an alternative option.

We don’t currently offer the ability to swap cars during your micro lease term.  

At the end of your micro lease term, you’ll have the option to return your car and then get a new one.

Certain accessories are allowed to the car, such as: 

Please note that any accessories added must be professionally installed at your own expense and abide by all state, local & federal laws. Any modifications or accessories left on the car at the time of return that cannot be removed become part of the car and the property of AutoNation Mobility. 

Any damage or cost of removal caused by the installation, use or removal of accessories may result in additional charges. All other modifications require prior written approval by us, which we may withhold at our sole discretion.

Compared to a traditional lease or purchase, an AutoNation Mobility car micro lease offers the flexibility of a shorter commitment. You get to choose 6 or 12 months, at prices that are more comparable to the monthly cost of a lease. Because you’re not purchasing, you’re not taking on any of the typical risks of owning a car like depreciation.

You’ll still get to pick the exact car you want, and your micro lease comes with things like routine maintenance, manufacturer’s warranty, and 24/7 roadside assistance that make having a car easy.
