Is insurance covered in my AutoNation Mobility Micro Lease?
No. You’ll be able to bring your own outside insurance as long as it meets the minimum requirements according to the AutoNation Mobility Agreement and the state’s requirements (see below).
What type of insurance do I need?
You will need to secure insurance with the following minimum requirements:
- Bodily injury liability insurance with at least $100K/$300K/$50K or the minimum limits as required by law (whichever is greater).
- Collision and Comprehensive for the vehicle's full value with a maximum deductible of $1,000
- Any other type of coverage, such as uninsured motorist coverage, as required by law.
Insurance will need to be specific to the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the AutoNation Mobility car listed in your lease agreement. Mobility B2C, LLC should be listed as the Loss Payee and the Lienholder.
Address:
Mobility B2C, LLC
PO Box 2027
Carmel, IN 46082
What does the Loss Payee, Lienholder, or Additional Insured mean?
You will need to include AutoNation Mobility on your insurance policy for our vehicle by listing Mobility B2C, LLC as the Loss Payee and Lienholder on your insurance because the vehicle is titled to AutoNation Mobility. You may also list Mobility B2C, LLC as the Additional Insured if your insurance policy includes this designation.
Is insurance required?
Yes. Insurance is required by your AutoNation Mobility Contract.
When do I need to provide proof of insurance?
You will need to provide proof of insurance through our website before you can schedule your pickup. You will also need to show proof of insurance at the AutoNation store when you pick up your vehicle.
Where can I get third-party insurance?
If you do not have an existing insurance provider, you can check online for companies that offer the required insurance minimums or reach out to a local insurance agent.
How do I update my insurance?
If you need to update your insurance, use the Insurance Update Form to submit your new policy information.
